Temporal Bone Dissection Course

Dear colleagues and friends,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the “TEMPORAL BONE COURSE”, taking place at ASA Institute Sarajevo, April 26th-27th, 2025. This course is organized in partnership with the Association of Otorhinolaryngologists in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This course is designed for otorhinolaryngologists who wish to enhance their surgical skills in temporal bone surgery. This intensive two-day course will provide participants with hands-on experience in essential otologic procedures under the guidance of experienced surgeons. Through didactic sessions and practical training, attendees will have the opportunity to refine their techniques and improve surgical outcomes.

The course will cover key procedures, including:

  • Mastoidectomy
  • Aticoantrotomy
  • Middle ear exploration
  • Sound-Bridge implantation
  • Cochlear implantation

Special attention will be given to surgical anatomy, instrumentation, and the management of intraoperative challenges. The course will also include a dedicated session for operating room personnel and scrub nurses, recognizing their crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient surgical procedures.
